The Ualá team wanted to create a one-of-a-kind experience for users to witness a gaming event up close. The goal was to immerse the viewer in the excitement and passion of this world by providing an immersive and authentic experience.
We focused on understanding the consumer profile and their interest in this type of content when developing the coverage strategy for Ualá’s gaming event. We discovered that the target audience was enthusiastic about video games and enjoyed immersing themselves in the gaming world through immersive experiences. With this insight in mind, we devised a production strategy that allowed us to capture the event from various angles and convey it in an authentic manner. We set out to show the event through the eyes of a gamer, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the gaming industry.
We wanted to bring the viewer closer to Ualá’s gaming event, allowing them to experience the games’ behind-the-scenes and minute-by-minute action. We used strategically placed cameras to provide a comprehensive view of the games and players. Furthermore, we approached the participants and conducted interviews in which they shared their real-time experiences and emotions. The event was streamed live on digital platforms, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in the gaming world without leaving their homes. At the same time, additional content was created, such as videos and photographs, which were shared on Ualá’s social networks, resulting in community interaction and participation.
